This workshop will enable you to:
- Apply effective communication at your workplace
- Identify the people you build relations with as a DH
- Identify the relationship challenges that DHs encounter that prevent them from being effective in carrying out their core duties
- Provide possible solutions to these challenges
- Share best practices with each other
- List the various discipline problems that occur in your school
- Determine your success in addressing these discipline problems
- Identify your duties as DHs in relation to a grade head, subject head and phase head
- List the various ways in which your school communicates with parents
- Identify the purpose/ reason for communicating with parents
- Identify the support that the DH can get from the departmental officials
- Identify the reason to maintain a good relationship with departmental officials
