  • Understand what is meant by common fractions and be able to use equivalent fractions to compare different fractions
  • Add and subtract fractions including mixed numbers
  • Choose the correct operation when doing contextual problems involving common fractions
  • See the equivalence of common fractions, decimal fractions and percentages
  • Work with decimal fractions
