This workshop will enable you to:

• Identify a whole and a fraction
• Show parts of a whole using real objects, geo-shapes, paper shapes, models and a collection of objects
• Use and name unitary fractions and non-unitary fractions
• Recognise fractions diagrammatically
• Write out fractions, e.g. 1 half
• Match illustrations with fraction names
• Recognise equivalent fractions
