Outcomes of Workshop

This workshop will enable you to:

• Know the four study areas embedded within the Foundation Phase life skills programme
• Understand the reasoning behind the organisation of study areas in the Foundation Phase life skills programme
• Know the four art forms learners are exposed to in the Foundation Phase life skills programme
• Know the two main content areas developed within the performing arts section of the Foundation Phase life skills programme
• Identify and implement various activities in performing arts which develop perceptual skills
• Implement various creative games and skills in order to achieve the aims of the performing arts component of the Foundation Phase life skills programme
• Implement various improvisation and interpretation activities in order to achieve the aims of the performing arts component of the Foundation Phase life skills programme
